Program Description

 

*Prerequisites


Age 18 or older

Eighth grade math and verbal skills

Minimum requirements performance on screening examination

Interview with and recommendation of Program Selection Committee

Acceptance of program goals and requirements

The "E-Team" Machinist Job Training Program is a 690+ hour/35 week academic, metalworking Vocational Training program. It provides basic machinist, welding and metal fabrication hands-on technical training, academics, communications, job readiness and teaming skills to a diverse adult population. Successful graduates will fill a critical need for entry-level jobs in the various metalworking environments.
